Many cultures believe that water absorbs and accumulates the vibratory patterns
of our words, healing thoughts, and intentions - like a sort of spiritual energy,
storage battery.
- Native American spiritual healers chant rhythmically and shake rattles over
water to enhance its healing properties.
- Mayan Shamans place their hands above water and repeat their traditional prayers
nine times to enrich and consecrate the water in which their patients bathe
- Roman Catholic priests make water holy by ritual blessings prayed over it,
and making the sign of the cross above the vessel containing the water.
- Incan priests and priestesses prayed as they immersed their hands in water
which flowed through channels and into their temples to build up spiritual energy
for ceremonial and domestic purposes.
- Today, in the Caribbean, priests and priestesses vigorously crush fresh herbs
into water and infuse it with the herbal and spiritual energy. They even chew
the leaves and spit into the water adding their ashe or spiritual power
to the mixture.
I Want to Take a Spiritual Bath. How Do I Go About It?
So, you feel bathing is the best method to employ in your spiritual
endeavors. You are not alone! As you can see from the history of magical baths,
they have long been used to fulfill folks desires. Determining how to take a spiritual
bath and with what ingredients is fairly simple. However, taking and making a
spiritual bath can be a physical exhausting process. Remember Folks, they call
this Spiritual Work not Spiritual Easy!
It is important to make some distinctions when you are thinking
of preparing and taking a Spiritual Bath.
First one should decide if their ultimate goal is to Promote
and Draw (like love, courage, mastery, protection, success, love or money
etc.) or Inhibit and Remove ( sin, crossed conditions, gossip, disease,
bad luck, jinxes and hexes, etc.).
The next step is to determine which number
applies to the task at hand. For instance to draw luck, money, health, blessings
or new love the number you might focus on is seven (7). For power, mastery or
to command a person you will be using the number nine (9) in your work. For uncrossing
and removal of jinxes, hexes, unclean spirits and cross conditions you might work
with the number thirteen (13).
- How Many Days do I need to Bathe?
- How many ingredients do I need to put in my bath?
- Will I be washing my body in an upward or downward motion?
- Will I be soaking in the bath water or pouring it over my head?
- How will I dispose of items I used in my ritual bath?
Disposal of ritual remains is your final consideration. Recommendations for disposal methods are given for each type of bath listed below.
DRAWING BATHS
If one wishes to draw or promote new things (money, blessings,
health, new love) in their life, they should take a bath consisting of 7 ingredients
for 7 days in a row, praying a prayer or making an affirmation 7
times, and wiping UP their body 7 times with a clean cloth.
Each day a portion of the bath water should be saved (in one clean
jar or jug) and on the 7th day it should be disposed of - at a church, in front
of the home, buried in the earth or used as a floor wash to scrub the front porch
or steps.
As an example, read the process for taking a Money
Drawing bath, which is designed to bring money to the target.
COMMANDING BATHS
When you need to:
- Come out on top of a situation,
- Impose your will over another,
- Force someone to see things your way
- Win in a competition
- Send someone away
Take a bath consisting of 9 ingredients for 9 days
in a row, praying a prayer or making an affirmation 9 times, and wiping
UP your body 9 times with a clean cloth.
Each day a portion of the bath water should be saved (in one clean
jar or jug) and on the 9th day it should be disposed of - preferable at the location
of the person you want to command or compel - on their front porch, car,
etc.
For those commanding their spouse or lovers, it can be used in
the rinse cycle of their clothing, added to their shampoo or added to their
food or drink for success. It can be used to mop your shared home or on
your front porch.
If the purpose of the work is to send someone away throw the remains
in running water.
UNCROSSING BATHS
When you need to Break Hexes, Remove Jinxes and Cross Conditions
take a bath consisting of 13 ingredients for 13 days in a row, praying
a prayer or making an affirmation 13 times, and wiping DOWN the
body with a clean cloth or pouring water over the head 13 times .
Each day a portion of the bath water should be saved (in one clean
jar or jug) and on the 13th day it should be disposed of - at a crossroads,
in a cemetery or in running water like a river, creek or ocean.
Good Luck and Happy Bathing!
