Spiritual Sprays have been popular since the mid-1980's. With
today's fast paced lifestyles, many Spiritualists began looking for alternatives
to the long and difficult task of floor washing. Manufacturers came up with the
idea of putting the perfumed essence of their incense, bath and oils into an aerosol
spray can.
Sprays became wildly popular and are still widely used today.
Many feel that if they don't have time to do a full house cleansing or scrub the
front porch for money, they can use the spray daily until they can make the time
for a bigger ritual.
Folks use sprays as a supplement to other work. In New Orleans,
rootworkers usually prescribe clients to light a dressed
candle, take a spiritual bath, burn incense,
sprinkle dressed salts in the corners of the
home, drop powders, wear perfumes
and use spray daily - all as part of a seven step process that must be followed
daily.
These sprays have been discontinued by Mistic or by the manufacturer.
While supplies last.
