 Haitian
Powders are top quality spiritual powders created under the guidance and power
of the Lwa or Spirits of Haitian Vodou. To best preserve rare plant materials
(many imported directly from Haiti) they are sold by in one ounce glass jars under
our Mistè™ label.
All of the Vodou powders we currently carry were created by real
Houngan and Mambo Asogwe. Many were constructed in December 2003 during the Petwo/Kongo
magical cycle. These will be noted below an asterisk (*). This magical period
is traditionally when powders and spell casting tools are formulated.
In Vodou, powders are used as components of spiritual baths, in
work lamps and are often incorporated into wanga - or tied up charms/amulets.
